The Star-Batt works great. Portability is good. I use when boondocking so set up is easy. I also have a cradle. It has strong magnets. It is a bit of a challenge to carry up ladder to set in cradle on top of van for me. I have a roof rack on van and use an additional bungee type strap to attach to rack for safety when on the move. Reception is good when moving and I use power from van to keep battery topped off throughout the daily drive. I am happy with the options for connection.
A perfect solution for an internet backup solution when RVing, camping, during a power outage, or just for emergency preparedness. Seems to be built like a tank.
I have used it alone and got an honest 24hrs out of it, and I recieved my solar panel and I’m using it for the first time as i write this.
Together it is an unbeatable product except for the SAE connector at the panel. It is very loose, like look at it and it falls apart loose. I feel this needs to be changed, as sometimes you need to move the panel back into the sun.
The other thing and its a bit nit picky, I wish i recieved the New design solar panel. The original design has a fairly big footprint even when folded up to its smallest. For my travel needs the smaller the better

The panel you received was our original V1 model, which has since been discontinued with the release of our significantly upgraded V2 panel. Due to the substantial cost difference, we unfortunately weren’t able to offer a complimentary upgrade to our Kickstarter backers.

The pack work as designed and works well. The only issue I had is when I first set it up it wants to be at the tilt of the original mount. After that it works perfectly. It is worth the money you pay and very handy to have especially when you need internet guess what you have it. Thank for your product it will get used for sure.
I am so happy with my Star Batt! I am currently on day 7 of almost continuous use on a long trip, working remotely, plus streaming shows. It charges quickly (few hours), and has lasted OVER 24 hours on a single charge with moderate use (mostly emails, but opening art files and photos, up/downloading same + streaming Netflix).
Customer service is top notch. Fast reply, friendly folks. I can’t recommend this product enough.
