An all in one battery to power, protect and to use your StarLink Mini. Easy to use and to store your Star Link safely. This adds to usefulness of StarLink and really StarLink (let me negotiate for you) should buy your invention and as a lawyer I’d love to be your agent to negotiate sale of rights to your product. Really this is your next step because it allows the StarLink to really fully function without doing a bunch of other things! Contact me as I’d love to help expand the manufacture and sales of this product. The Mini is great but they are missing what you have and through there merchandise it is a no brainer. Was looking for a pre built solution with flexibility sturdiness decent weight and good autonomy and that’s exactly what I got …
Not cheap especially for Canadian folks but worth every penny.
We use it all the time and carry the Starbatt everywhere by seaplane in the Canadian North.
1. Great concept and execution but the weight is a problem.
2. Never received the solar recharging panel as promised.

Hi Phil, thank you for your feedback — I’d like to address your concerns directly.
To provide 24 hours of runtime using LiFePO4 batteries (chosen for their safety and longevity), some weight is inevitable. We’re fully transparent about the unit weighing 27 lbs, and we highlight this in our product descriptions so customers can make informed decisions.
Regarding the solar panel, your Kickstarter pledge did not include the solar bundle. As such, your order did not include any solar components beyond what was specified at the time of purchase.
We appreciate your support as a backer and are always here to help clarify or support any aspect of your order. To describe these as a “couple of issues” is not fair to us.

I worked in remote rural Fremont County on a Wildland fire with evacuations. I was the only one that had one, providing connectivity for my two phones, laptop for radar, maps, WebEOC… I was also mobile and had perfect cell service, and provided cell service for other responders and DHSEM. It was great to have on the move and provide connectivity at the second fire that was started by lightning in a second very remote location. I used this from 11:34 yesterday morning until about 9 last night and there was never an issue. It was even out in the rain during the heavy storm that started the second fire.
