Takes all of the thinking/planning out of actually using my Starlink Mini when I’m out in the mountains (or really anywhere I need a bit of internet access). Having everything in one box, no extra wires to worry about, no extra power sources to worry about – it really makes it easy to just have internet anywhere, instantly.
I cant say enough good things about my Star-Batt. It goes with me everywhere and gives me alot of options when out and away from normal internet and cell service. As a business owner I have been able to be out in the middle of Nevada hunting and check in with my team in the middle of the day during a lunch break. If I ever lost mine I would order a new one immediately.

I’ve been very impressed with the Star-Batt system (rugged case battery + 160w solar panel). It provides a reliable ~24-hour standalone power solution for my Starlink Mini, completely independent from the house battery system on my sailboat.
That separation and redundancy is extremely valuable offshore. I prefer critical communication capability to remain isolated from primary vessel power, and this system accomplishes that cleanly.
The solar panel has provided strong daytime recharge performance, and the battery capacity has matched the stated specifications in real-world use at sea.
As a solo sailor currently making my way toward the start of the Golden Globe Race, where I will eventually disconnect from all modern electronics, having dependable communications capability during the preparation voyage offers both practical safety and peace of mind.

I own two, a Mini and a Plus. Both work outstanding no matter the location. My kids picked up a used piece of farm equipment in central CA from Oregon and threw the Mini on the equipment, worked great with four I-pads and two phones running constantly. I use the other traveling from Utah to Oregon and rarely if ever have any connection issues. Speed is beyond what I need. Highly recommend.
