Return and Refund Policy

Return Material Authorization (RMA) process:

Star-Batt is committed to providing exceptional support for our products during the warranty period. Our shipping policy for eligible products under warranty is as follows:

Timeframe (months) RMA Process
1-12 Star-Batt will cover 100% of the shipping costs to and from our facilities for any eligible warranty-related repairs or replacements.*
12-24 Star-Batt will cover 50% of the shipping costs to and from our facilities for eligible warranty-related services. The customer will be responsible for the remaining 50% of the shipping costs.*
24+ All shipping costs to and from Star-Batt for any repairs, replacements, or servicing will be the sole responsibility of the customer.*

*Does not apply to customers located in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside of the United States. Customers residing outside of the contiguous 48 U.S. states are solely responsible for all third-party shipping, handling, freight, and customs charges associated with any warranty claims. Star-Batt may choose to, but is not required or bound by these terms, to reimburse these charges under any circumstances.

CLAIM PROCESS:

To initiate a claim, please provide your name, address, date of purchase, and details regarding your claim to Support@star-batt.com.

The Star-Batt Technical Support Team will work with you to determine the best course of action to fix and/or replace components covered under this warranty. If the Star-Batt Technical Support Team determines that a covered component must be replaced, instructions will be provided for receiving the replacement and returning your damaged component.

If a credit card chargeback of any amount is issued on an order, the Limited Warranty for that order will be paused until the chargeback is resolved and the order is paid in full.

Original Packaging Requirement for Warranty Claims

The Star-Batt Mini is classified as a "dangerous good" for shipping purposes due to its internal battery. As such, it must be shipped in specialized packaging that meets regulatory requirements, including specific materials, markings, and labels.

Customers must retain their original packaging (including the box, foam inserts, and any labeling) for the duration of the warranty period. In the event of a warranty claim requiring the return of a Star-Batt Mini, the original packaging must be used for shipment.

If the original packaging has been lost or discarded, the customer will be required to purchase a replacement shipping kit from Star-Batt for $50, which includes the necessary certified materials to ensure compliant transportation of dangerous goods. Failure to use the proper packaging may result in delays, denial of warranty service, or rejection of shipping by carriers.

Shipping Damage Claims

Products should be inspected immediately upon delivery. Shipping damage claims are time-sensitive and will not be accepted more than 14 business days after delivery. Take photos of any damage found and date the images when possible. Report shipping damage claims within 14 business days of delivery to Star-Batt at support@star-batt.com.

30-Day Return Policy

Star-Batt accepts returns up to 30 days after you receive your purchase. To qualify, the item must be in brand-new condition and include all original packaging, labels, stickers, seals, and the yellow QC tag fully intact and unaltered. Items that have been used or are missing any original identifiers are not eligible for return.

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all approved returns, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Proof of purchase is required.

To initiate a return, contact us at support@star-batt.com. If your return is approved, we will send complete instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Price Match & Promotional Returns

Returns requested solely to obtain a sale price, promotional discount, or retroactive adjustment are not eligible under the return policy. Star-Batt may choose to make exceptions at its own discretion, but is not obligated to apply discounts to past orders.
