STAR-BATT LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS
Before operating your Star-Batt device, please read the instructions tag provided with each product. This contains important information about your Star-Batt product. DO NOT USE YOUR PRODUCTS UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY. Star-Batt requires registering your product within 45 days of receiving it to take advantage of any extended warranty period. Registration helps Star-Batt provide better service in the future.
All Star-Batt products come with a limited warranty as shown below. BY USING STAR-BATT PRODUCTS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THE STAR-BATT LIMITED WARRANTY.

Product Registration
Star-Batt warrants its covered products for a limited time from the date of original retail purchase against defects in materials, including batteries, and workmanship when used normally according to Star-Batt’s published guidelines. These guidelines include, but are not limited to, information in technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications. “Original retail purchase” means the product was purchased new for the first time directly from Star-Batt or from an authorized Star-Batt dealer. Registration is required for extended warranty claims.
Only the original owner of a Star-Batt purchased directly from Star-Batt or an authorized dealer is covered by this Limited Warranty. The warranty period begins upon receipt of the product and ends at the close of the warranty period. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any subsequent owner or transferee of the Star-Batt product.
Limited Manufacturer Warranty
All Star-Batt covered products are protected against manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for the period displayed in the “Warranty Timeline” section of this page, beginning after the original purchase by the original purchaser.
Each component will be repaired or replaced if found defective during the warranty period. This warranty excludes damages resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or external causes such as accidents or natural disasters. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and product registration (for extended warranty claims) and can be initiated by contacting our customer service team at [email protected]. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Normal Wear and Tear: This includes, but is not limited to, any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions, acts of God, accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, alterations, modifications, installation of incompatible parts or accessories, operator error, or water and dust damage.
Water and Dust Damage: This warranty does not cover any damage resulting from water or dust exposure beyond the specifications of the Star-Batt covered product’s IP65 ratings. The IP65 rating means that the Star-Batt product is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction and is fully protected against dust ingress ONLY WHEN THE STAR-BATT MINI COVER IS CLOSED AND LATCHED. However, this warranty does not apply if the unit is exposed to conditions exceeding these protections, such as submersion in water, high-pressure water exposure, or prolonged exposure to heavy dust environments.
Batteries: The internal batteries of Star-Batt covered products are not warranted against damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance, normal wear, or water damage.
For the avoidance of doubt, Star-Batt will not be liable for any damage, failure, or loss caused by unauthorized repairs.
Determining whether damage or defect to a Star-Batt covered product is protected by this limited warranty is at the sole discretion of Star-Batt.
Return Material Authorization (RMA) process:
Star-Batt is committed to providing exceptional support for our products during the warranty period. Our shipping policy for eligible products under warranty is as follows:

12-24 | Star-Batt will cover 50% of the shipping costs to and from our facilities for eligible warranty-related services. The customer will be responsible for the remaining 50% of the shipping costs. |
24+ | All shipping costs to and from Star-Batt for any repairs, replacements, or servicing will be the sole responsibility of the customer. |
CLAIM PROCESS:
To initiate a claim, please provide your name, address, date of purchase, and details regarding your claim to [email protected].
The Star-Batt Technical Support Team will work with you to determine the best course of action to fix and/or replace components covered under this warranty. If the Star-Batt Technical Support Team determines that a covered component must be replaced, instructions will be provided for receiving the replacement and returning your damaged component.
If a credit card chargeback of any amount is issued on an order, the Limited Warranty for that order will be paused until the chargeback is resolved and the order is paid in full.
Shipping Damage Claims
Products should be inspected immediately upon delivery. Shipping damage claims are time-sensitive and will not be accepted more than 14 business days after delivery. Take photos of any damage found and date the images when possible. Report shipping damage claims within 14 business days of delivery to Star-Batt at [email protected].
30-Day Return Policy
Star-Batt accepts returns up to 30 days after you receive your purchase. Items must be in the same condition as they were received to be eligible for return. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to your refund, and you are responsible for shipping. Receipt or proof of purchase is also required for returns.
